Mandatory InstlattionMandatory for residentials(New and reconstructed) above aread 500 sq yards.(1 Kw to 3 Kwp min.) For Private Hospitals ,institutions,hostels universities having load more than 30 Kw and above – 5 % mandatory. For Govt Buildings,colleges and institutions having connected load more than 30 KW: Min 2 Kw or 5 % whatever is lower. Group Housing complexes, socities on 0.5 acre to 1 acre:10 Kw
(Solar Injection Compensation). The proposed generic tariff is ₹5.27 (~$0.0741)/kWh without AD and ₹4.88 (~$0.0686)/kWh with AD, for gross metering.
Energy Settlement If the exported energy exceeds the imported energy, the Licensee shall show the net energy exported as credited Units of electricity as specified in the Net Metering Regulations, 2019. If the exported energy is less than the imported
energy, the Eligible Consumer shall pay the Distribution Licensee for the net energy imported at the prevailing tariff
approved by the Commission for the Consumer category to which he belongs.

Central SubsidyResidential sector (maximum up to 3 kW capacity ):40 % of benchmark cost (above 3 kW capacity and up to 10 kW capacity)*:40 % up to 3 KW Plus 20% for RTS system above 3 kW and up to 10 kW.20 % subisy is available for Group Housing Societies/Residential Welfare Associations (GHS/RWA) etc. for common facilities up to 500 kWp ( limited to 10 kWp per house), with the upper limit being inclusive of individual rooftop plants already installed by individual residents in that GHS/RWA at the time of installation of RTS for common activity.
